Virtues Golf Club is the only golf course in the Columbus area to make Golfweek's list of the top 15 public golf courses in Ohio. The 18-hole course in Nashport is tied for fifth place with Firestone Fazio Golf Course in Akron.

Golfweek's Best of 2024 lists the best publicly accessible golf courses in the country, judged by an international jury. The Virtues, designed by renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills, opened in 1999 as Longaberger Golf Club before the new owner changed the name in 2016.

Local Golf: Nasty 9: The toughest holes on public courses in Central Ohio

Located in eastern Licking County, the course also includes one of the nine most difficult holes of any public course in central Ohio.
