KENT- As the MAC announced on Friday morning, the Golden Flashes sent 13 members to the Academic All-Conference Baseball Team of the Mid-American Conference.

The All-Academic award is reserved for student-athletes who have played in at least 50 percent of the games or pitched a certain number of innings during the 2024 season while maintaining a 3.20 grade point average. First-year players and first-year transfer students are not eligible for the award.

A total of 119 student-athletes have received the honor across MAC baseball, with Kent State joining Bowling Green and Western Michigan as the teams with at least 13 members on the All-Academic Squad.

It was a standout year in the classroom for the Flashes, as the team set the program record for highest GPA during the season and cumulative GPA during the spring semester. The full list of All-Academic honorees for Kent State can be found below:
