ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio volleyball program has released its 2024 non-conference schedule, the head coach announced Geoff Carlston on Friday (21 June).

The Bobcats will begin the season with their first of two home tournaments at the Convocation Center. Ohio will host Xavier, Appalachian State and Wright State for its Bobcat Invitational on Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31. The Bobcats will face Xavier on Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET. They will then play two games against Appalachian State on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET and close the tournament with Wright State at 7 p.m. ET.

Ohio then travels to High Point, NC for two games against Mercer and High Points. The Bobcats will face Mercer on Friday, September 6th and High Point on Saturday, September 7th. Start times for the two games are to be announced.

The Bobcats will head to the West Coast for their third week of non-conference action. Ohio will play in the SoCal Cup I at USC in Los Angeles, California, hosted by both USC and Loyola Marymount. The Bobcats will begin the weekend on Thursday, September 12th when Ohio faces LMU at 9:00 p.m. ET. Ohio will then face USC on Friday, September 13th at 10:00 p.m. ET before ending the weekend against Utah State on Saturday, September 14th at 4:00 p.m. ET.

The Bobcats will finish their nonconference schedule with their Ohio Invitational on Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21 at the Convocation Center. Ohio's first match of the Invitational is against Liberty on Friday, September 20 at 6:30 p.m. ET. On Saturday, September 21, the Bobcats will face Oakland at 1 p.m. ET and Eastern Kentucky at 7 p.m. ET in their final two games of the tournament.

Ohio and the MAC announced the 2024 conference schedule on March 27.

All Ohio home games will be broadcast on ESPN+. Information on season and single-game tickets will be released soon.
