Professional boxer Tramaine Williams collapsed mid-fight, creating a frightening scene that was reportedly the result of an epileptic seizure.

“Williams, a 20-2 featherweight boxer, was just beginning the NYC Attitude's fight against the Las Vegas Hustle when he suddenly stopped before the horrific scene unfolded,” the New York Post reported.

“After raising his right arm in the air in a manner that left the commentator uncertain as to whether he was taunting his opponent Ryan Allen, Williams suddenly collapsed face first to the ground and the referee waved a halt to the fight.”

As you can see, Allen took a step back and also seemed shocked by Williams' sudden collapse.

Fortunately, everything seems to be fine after Williams was taken to the hospital and he has since been released.

“Yes, I'm fine,” he wrote on Instagram. “The doctor said I was too dehydrated! But I'm [sic] … Thank you.”

The boxing community was obviously stunned by the scene.

“I have never seen anything like this. We are praying for Williams,” boxing manager Joseph Santos wrote on the post.

Ringgirl at the match Chelly Rivas posted on Instagram: “He’s out of the hospital and doing better…”

The OOC MMA account added: “What a scary ending to this fight, prayers for Tramaine Williams.”

The game was part of the Team Combat League.

“The Team Combat League is America's first boxing league with a 'team-based ownership model' and includes 12 teams from across the country,” the Post said.
