The dynamic baseball duo of Louisana Ragin' Cajuns, along with Kyle DeBarge and LP Langevin, continued to add to their postseason accolades on Friday as Baseball America announced its College All-American teams for the 2024 season.

DeBarge was selected to the magazine's first-team All-America as a shortstop, the first time a Ragin' Cajun has been honored and the first first-team pick since Wyatt Marks in 2017. Langevin was selected as a third-team selection.

DeBarge was the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year and was named to the All-American team for the fourth time after being selected first team by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), second team by Perfect Game and third team by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).

The junior from Lake Charles has a .355 batting average in 2024 and sets school records in both home runs with 21 and total bases with 179. DeBarge also scored 72 runs, the most by a Ragin' Cajun since Greg Blevins, who scored 75 runs in 1990 and started all 62 games for Louisiana.

Ranked the best shortstop in the country by D1Baseball, Debarge finished second in the Sun Belt Conference in slugging percentage at .699, an OPS of 1.117, had 21 home runs and recorded 91 hits in 256 at-bats.

In the Sun Belt Conference, DeBarge hit 13 home runs and 45 RBIs, earning him SBC Player of the Year honors along with Jace Conrad (2014) and Blake Trahan (2015), and becoming the first player in school history to break the 20-home run mark.

Langevin was selected to the third-team All-American team by the NCBWA and ABCA as he posted a 6-1 record on the mound in his first season at Louisiana, leading the team with seven saves. The right-hander posted a 3.73 ERA in 23 appearances on the mound, striking out 106 batters in 62.2 innings.

The Quebec City native was the school's sixth player to win the SBC Pitcher of the Year award, joining Scott Dohmann (2000), Austin Faught (2005), Hunter Moody (2006), Carson Baranik (2014), Gunner Leger (2017) and Colten Schmidt (2018).

Langevin is ranked as the fifth-best relief pitcher by D1Baseball and finished the season as the SBC's leader in strikeouts, fewest hits allowed (40) and fewest runs allowed (27). Langevin was third in saves among SBC pitchers, seventh in ERA and ninth in wins.
