Wales are preparing for their first Test matches in Australia since 2012, when they will face a new-look Wallabies side in two consecutive matches in July.

Wales will be looking to bounce back quickly from their awful performance in the Six Nations, where they lost all their games and finished last for the first time since 2003.

Given Australia's personnel changes on and off the field and Wales' recent struggles, it is difficult to predict who will come out on top.

The sports news examines when Wales last won in Australia and compares the two nations' records head-to-head.

The two nations have played 46 Test matches against each other since 1908 and Australia still holds a comfortable lead over its European rivals.

The Wallabies also won 13 games in a row between 2009 and 2018, although they saw an overall decline.

Wales have bounced back with four wins in their last five games, including twice at the last two World Cups.
