CALEDONIA, WI — The Racine County Sheriff's Office is advising residents near Cliffside Park to stay in their homes following a shooting there.

According to a report by WISN 12 News, the incident was reported shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10. The station had a helicopter circling the area.

Shooting leads to warnings for residents

In particular, all residents of Michna Road between 6 and 7 Mile Roads are advised to seek shelter at the lowest point of their home.

Sources told the Racine County Eye that it was a tactical situation and that SWAT teams were also on site.

Around 12 p.m., NewsChopper 12 noticed officers talking to a person on the north side of the park near a pond.
