From mixed martial arts to kickboxing to professional wrestling, Rampage Jackson has done just about everything in the world of combat sports.

But there is one form of prizefighting that he has not yet crossed off his wish list: boxing.

That could change in the near future, as Jackson hinted at a possible boxing match against former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans during a recent appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

“I saw [Evans] not too long ago,” Jackson said. “He and I are talking about having a boxing match in November. We're trying to get that done.”

Although Jackson and Evans now seem to be on good terms, there was no sympathy between them in the past. The former training partners became bitter rivals in 2010 before their fight at UFC 114 – Evans won by unanimous decision.

That same year, the two also trained as opponents in the 10th season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” in what was arguably the most dramatic season of the series.

Jackson and Evans frequently engaged in smack-talk on the show, and Jackson famously destroyed one of the doors at the UFC training facility during filming after one of his fighters lost to one of Evans' fighters.
