The 2024 Olympic Games are just around the corner and teams are beginning their preparations for the Games in Paris.

The United States and Canada begin their men's basketball exhibition tour on Wednesday with a showdown between two of the tournament's best teams.

Team USA is as star-studded as ever, led by the generational trio of LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. Canada is fielding its best team in the country's history, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jamal Murray and RJ Barrett.

The North American opponents will face each other in a warm-up match to test their talent before the Olympic Games kick off on July 28.

When do the Olympic Games start?

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games will take place on July 26. The men's basketball tournament begins the following day, July 27, and ends with the medal games on August 10.

The US national team is one of 12 teams that have qualified for the Paris Olympics and will play in Group C with Serbia, South Sudan and Puerto Rico.
