Billings police said the death in the 1100 block of Sunnyside Lane was an accident and not a suspicious circumstance.

Officers found the 43-year-old man dead in the apartment building. They are not looking for any suspects and believe there is no danger to the community, according to the press release from Sergeant Jeff Stovall.

Billings Police Lt. Bret Becker said the deceased was a man in his 30s who was found in the common area of ​​an apartment building in the 1100 block of Sunnyside Lane, which connects to Burnstead Drive.

Due to the location of the body and the injuries, Becker told MTN News at the scene that detectives are conducting further investigations.

The man was found by another tenant in the house, he said.

Police are not currently looking for a suspect, he said.

The residence is a small apartment building on a cul-de-sac, with the only exit being Burnstead Drive. Police said traffic was not disrupted during the investigation.
