  • Attempted auto theft/auto tampering/theft from a motor vehicle, S Maple Ave., between 5:00 p.m. on June 30 and 6:17 a.m. on July 1. An unknown perpetrator smashed the rear passenger window of a locked vehicle, tampered with the steering column, and ransacked the vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
  • Criminal damage to property, S Maple Ave., between 8:20 p.m. June 30 and 6:49 a.m. July 1. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver's side window of a locked vehicle and ransacked the vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
  • Attempted auto theft/tampering, S Maple Ave., between 11:00 a.m. June 30 and 7:17 a.m. July 1. An unknown perpetrator smashed the front driver's window of a locked vehicle, tampered with the steering column, and ransacked the vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
  • Auto tampering, S Maple Ave., between 8:00 p.m. June 30 and 8:30 a.m. July 1. An unknown perpetrator removed all door handles from a locked vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
  • Reckless driving, W Broad St., July 1, 10:22 p.m., a 43-year-old Fairfax County man was arrested for reckless driving.
  • Auto Theft/Theft from a Motor Vehicle, Wilson Blvd., between 12:00 a.m. and 1:16 a.m. on July 2, an unknown perpetrator stole a red Subaru SUV containing electronics, a wallet, and a spare key to the vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered by Alexandria Police.
  • Theft from a motor vehicle/credit card fraud/damage to property, Wilson Blvd., between 12:00 a.m. and 1:16 a.m. on July 2, an unknown offender smashed the passenger window of a vehicle and stole electronic devices and a wallet. The offender then conducted several fraudulent transactions using the victim's credit card. The victim's electronic devices were later recovered by Alexandria Police in a stolen vehicle.
  • Theft from a building, Founders Ave., July 2, 6:06 p.m. The victim reported an unknown suspect stole his package.
  • Trespassing, Hillwood Ave., July 2, 9:47 p.m., a 45-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested for trespassing.
  • Criminal damage, S Maple Ave., between 6:00 p.m. and 10:29 p.m. on July 2, an unknown suspect smashed the window of a vehicle, broke the steering column, and ransacked the vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
  • Simple assault, Roosevelt Blvd., July 3, 10:58 p.m., victim reported assault by known suspect.
  • Shoplifting, Wilson Blvd, July 4, 1:43 p.m., two unknown suspects stole merchandise without paying. The first suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, bald with a gray beard, approximately 50-60 years old and 5'7″ to 5'8″ tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, wearing a green short sleeve shirt, dark blue or black shorts, and black shoes with white soles. The second suspect is described as a white male with brown hair, a beard, and glasses, approximately 60 years old and 5'8″ to 5'10″ tall, weighing approximately 180-190 pounds, wearing a gray shirt, dark shorts, and black and white shoes.
  • Shoplifting, W Broad St., July 4, 5:33 p.m., two unknown suspects, both described as black males, stole merchandise without paying.
  • Theft from building, Chanel Ter, July 5, 6:04 a.m. An unknown offender stole an unlocked orange Mongoose bicycle from the victim's patio. The offender is described as an adult male wearing a white face covering, black shirt, black pants, black sneakers, a gray-blue hat, and a black or gray backpack.
  • Trespassing, Wilson Blvd., July 7, 12:42 a.m., a 53-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested for trespassing.
  • Fraud – False Pretense, W Broad St, July 6, 12:18 p.m., the victim reported that an unknown suspect impersonated the victim and fraudulently withdrew money from his bank account. The incident is under investigation.
  • Theft from a building, Grove Ave.: Between 8:00 p.m. on July 5 and 7:47 p.m. on July 6, an unknown perpetrator stole a black electric hover scooter from the back porch.
  • Other Jurisdiction, Wilson Blvd., July 6, 11:21 p.m., a 44-year-old Annandale man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for another jurisdiction.
  • Property damage only, W Broad St/Birch St, July 3, 2:03 p.m.

  • Property damage only, 100-blk Pennsylvania Ave, July 5, 5:08 p.m.
