WEST LAFAYETTE – It was December when Purdue football coach Ryan Walters announced that the Boilermakers would wear new uniforms for the 2024 season.

Those eagerly awaiting the release of Purdue's new threads don't have to wait any longer.

Inspired by the upcoming release of EA Sports College Football 25, the release was made via a video on the Purdue football team's social media channels.

With a touch of nostalgia, Purdue's home jerseys resemble the black and gold worn during the glory years of the Joe Tiller era with Drew Brees as quarterback.

It will feature a gold helmet, gold pants and a black top. The jersey will have gold letters and white numbers with two gold stripes enclosing a white stripe on the sleeve. The gold pants will have a white stripe on each leg flanked by two black stripes.
